Jan. 1st, 2012, Barrie City Hall. Mayor Jeff Lehman will be presenting his inaugural New Year's Day Brunch & Levee, in support of the United Way of Greater Simcoe County. Chefs from some of Barrie's finest restaurants are lending their culinary skills to this special affair, so those lucky enough to be in attendance will experience a taste sensation sure to kick off the New Year in style. Fair Trade coffee for all.
Saturday, Feb. 4th. 2012, Barrie Winterfest Pancake Breakfast will be hosted by Barrie Central United Church. Fair Trade Coffee for all.
Sunday, Feb. 12th, 2012, Huronia Symphony Concert at Collier United Church, 3:30 PM. Fair Trade coffee courtesy of Hamley's Tea & Coffee Co.

Want to Help?

The Barrie Fair Trade Working Group is looking for individuals who would like to participate in local events, handing our brochures, pouring cups of Fair Trade coffee and telling folks about the Fair Trade Program.

In addition we are always looking for new events to participate in and welcome invitations or assistance to participate in new events.

Some typical events that we regularly participate in:

Coffee demos at retail stores.
Coffee demos at the Library, Art Gallery, Georgian College Film Night.
Fair Trade seminars or workshops in high schools and college.
Presentations to church groups or service clubs.
